UPDATE 07/12/2020 8:18PM
What. A. Day.
They will sing songs about it, and they will all be terrible.
Anyhoo, Out of fairness, the bonus still stands. Which means any new predictions beyond 8:00PM on this day that include any/all attempts at the Piatti bonus are forthwith invalidated. I won’t discount score predictions out of spite, but know you are hovering dangerously close to my naughty list.

Remember Prediction League? LOL. It’s been awhile. Long enough that week one winner Mike Whaley finally tired of using our PDF as his Twitter profile picture (it was fun while it lasted).

Well, seeing as #MLSis — in fact — Back, let’s dust off the spreadsheets and get to predicting!
First up, a refresher on the rules:
- 2 points for guessing the correct result (Win, Loss, or Draw)
- 1 point for guessing the amount of Toronto FC goals scored
- 1 point for guessing the amount of Toronto FC goals conceded
- 1 point for bonus
THIS WEEK’S BONUS IS - WILL PABLO PIATTI GET THE START?
And now a refresher on the standings. Here’s a Read-Only Link to the full standings (a spreadsheet of my discontent). And the week 2 hero graphic:

As you can see, and as he is fond of reminding us on the WTR slack, Managing Editor Michael Singh has spent the last several months at the top of the table.

I think I speak for everyone at WTR not named Michael Singh when I say “This cannot stand!” We’re all coming for his crown. Gotta pay the troll-toll.
As always, get in your shouts at least an hour BEFORE kickoff in the comment thread. because once the lineups drop (and trust us, we’ll know in nanoseconds), I will award no bonus points for the cheaters.
If you need help deciding, don’t forget to check out Brady Reid’s match preview from yesterday! Kickoff is at 9 am tomorrow morning.
MLS is Back! The Reds are back! Oh, happy day!
