TORONTO, Canada—On Tuesday, Major League Soccer revealed the remainder of its 2020 regular season schedule. The regular season will run up until November 8, also known as ‘MLS Decision Day’ 2020.
Toronto FC, who we already knew were set to face New York City FC and Columbus Crew SC this week, will play nine additional matches between now and Nov. 8 for a total of 11 remaining games, including six at their new ‘home away from home’: Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.
TFC will play only Eastern Conference opponents the rest of the way, meaning each fixture will carry a significant weight in the Reds’ push towards a Supporters Shield. Toronto trail the league-leading Columbus Crew SC by five points heading into Wednesday’s game against NYCFC and if the Reds can come away with three points, it’ll set up a very intriguing fixture Saturday night in East Hartford, CT.
Below is the remainder of the TFC’s 2020 schedule after this weekend.
