Toronto FC were already banged up going into Wenesday’s CONCACAF Champions League match against Club Leon, but their injury woes seem to have continued.

Already missing reigning MLS MVP Alejandro Pozuelo, Jonathan Osorio, Chris Mavinga, and Ayo Akinola, among others, both Jozy Altidore and Erickson Gallardo were forced out of Wednesday’s match.

Gallardo was helped off the pitch, but Altidore walked off himself, but the extent of the injuries are currently unknown.

Both have dealt with injuries in recent years, especially Altidore, who seemed to be dealing with a hamstring injury.

With the return leg of this match set for April 14, and the MLS opener a few days later, The Reds will be hoping they’re nothing serious, especially for Altidore, who has missed a lot of time over his Toronto FC career.
