Toronto FC Prediction League | Round 19—Toronto FC @ Chicago Fire

New, 49 comments

Guess today’s final score before the 8:00 pm ET kickoff to enter our prediction and be eligible to win a Toronto FC prize!

Round 19 - Whassup?

Lots of incremental movement up and down the standings. Our hero, JPN, eked out a point despite not even a whiff of a pitch invasion.

Full standings are below:

0ntexco moves into a two way tie with c.beaulieu for the top of the table - off the back of Round 18’s sole perfect score. Kudos and Congrats.

Spaghetti-Boy and CGC are nipping at their heels, while the “starts with J” crew are locked in a dead heat for 3rd. Ed and Rita lead another 3-way tie for fourth.

It’s truly anyone’s game here, except for Michael Singh, who’s far enough down the standings that he won’t be bothering us at the top again this year. Or will he?

Let’s get to predicting!

The point system for the 2021 season will be as follows:

  • 2 points for guessing the correct result (Win, Loss, or Draw)
  • 1 point for guessing the amount of Toronto FC goals scored
  • 1 point for guessing the amount of Toronto FC goals conceded

A perfect game prediction will yield a massive 4 points—and there will be extra points available each match for the bonus question!

BONUS QUESTION

Guys. I REALLY wanted to bring back the Caldwell “Qual-eh-teh” Drinking game — AGAIN. But I’m not entirely sure where Steven Caldwell is, and Kevin Kilbane is too new - I don’t have a Kevin Kilbane drinking game prompt - yet.

So ...

I will give a DOUBLE bonus point (2) if you guess YES to ANY GOALS SCORED IN EXTRA TIME, regardless of team, in both the first and second halves.

If you say NO, again, an easy bonus point (1) - but no glory.

I’m only here until the Olympics stop Olympicsing, and more points available means more #CHAOS.

Ok gang, Let’s do this, and COYR!
