Guess today’s final score before the 8:00 pm ET kickoff to enter our prediction and be eligible to win a Toronto FC prize!

Welcome to Week 25 of the Waking The Red Prediction League!

Toronto FC head down to Miami in search of a momentum-changing victory (positive thoughts only, people!!)

We’ve got an new old name atop the leaderboard! Apologies to c. beaulieu who’s 4-point New England prediction got missed by yours truly. Once those points were properly sorted, our old leader is our new leader. Sorry again, c. beaulieu. Nesker paid me to do it! He’s desperate for a title.

Congrats to a couple in house guys - Michael Singh and Jeffrey P. Nesker - for nailing the correct bonus in the Atlanta match. Both teams took exactly 4 corner kicks (which Nesker predicted on the nose, even though no one was looking for an exact total). Come to think of it, with those super powers, JPN can probably fix his own outcome, and doesn’t need my help slowing the leaders down!

On to the business at hand. Enough talk about the last TFC loss. Time to talk about the next TFC loss. Win! Time to talk about the next TFC win! Let me know what you think the final score of tonight’s Miami fixture will be and don’t forget the bonus...

The point system for the 2021 season will be as follows:

  • 2 points for guessing the correct result (Win, Loss, or Draw)
  • 1 point for guessing the amount of Toronto FC goals scored
  • 1 point for guessing the amount of Toronto FC goals conceded

A perfect game prediction will yield a massive 4 points—and there will be extra points available each match for the bonus question!

BONUS QUESTION:

Toronto FC haven’t managed to post clean sheet in 16 consecutive league matches - a new single season record for the club. Everyone involved would love to put an end to that. So the bonus is this: Can Toronto FC keep a clean sheet IN THE OPENING HALF tonight? Just doing the first 45. Yes or No? Can our Reds go into halftime with a clean sheet? Let me know along with your score prediction below.

Come on you Reds!!
