When will I see you again?
When will our hearts beat together?
Are we in love or just friends?
Is this my beginning or is this the end?- "When Will I See You Again?", The Three Degrees
It's either hot hot Hex, or another four years of sitting at home wondering what could have been. Such is the destiny that Canada's men's team face tonight in San Pedro Sula. The path is clear: win (or draw) or go home.
Granted, just qualifying for the Hex may mean games where we will be completely outmatched, but at least it makes it all that much easier the next time out. But that's the future, and today we face a team that's a mere shadow of itself from just two years ago when they qualified, but yet still filled with well-known weapons like Jerry Bengtson, Oscar Boniek Garcia, and Emilio Izaguirre.
But we will be facing them without Dwayne De Rosario (injured) and Olivier Occean (suspended). Will Lucas Cavallini play a role? Will Andre Hainault stay out of the referee's book amidst the drama? Can Will Johnson score another goal when Canada needs him the most? Or can anyone for that matter find that killer finish and be the hero? Join us to find out!
Once again, Armen Bedakian from RedNation Online will be our guest co-commentator. So join Armen, myself and all your friendly neighbourhood WTR writers in the window below, starting at 3:30pm ET!
