I don’t know about you, but I’m not quite ready for this season to end yet. It’s been a long, gruelling road approaching nine months for Toronto FC, but they’re now so close to the finish line.
To see them fall short of their biggest goal now would be devastating for everyone in a red jersey on Wednesday night.
So let’s have some positive thinking: TFC are, quite frankly, due a statement home win. It’s been a while since they really showed off what the best team in MLS looks like at BMO Field, though Michael Bradley will argue that few other clubs would have fought through what the New York Red Bulls threw at them in the conference semi-finals.
Jozy Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco are back and Toronto just need to win.
