Just as they started the 2017 MLS playoffs, Toronto FC have their full squad available.
Greg Vanney has carefully rotated his squad all year and it appears to have paid off, with the only notable absences he has had to deal with during the postseason the two suspensions earned by Jozy Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco.
They return for this match, the do-or-die second leg of the Eastern Conference final against the Columbus Crew, after serving one-game bans. Yellow-card accumulation is no longer an issue for TFC, as the slate is wiped clean before the MLS Cup final.
Here is Toronto’s full squad list for Wednesday night’s game at BMO Field.
Goalkeepers
Both Alex Bono and Clint Irwin are available and ready to fill their usual roles as starter and backup respectively.
Players available: Alex Bono, Clint Irwin, Mark Pais
Defenders
Toronto are fully fit in defence.
Justin Morrow was substituted late in the first leg but did not appear to have any problem beyond cramp.
Players available: Drew Moor, Eriq Zavaleta, Chris Mavinga, Nick Hagglund, Jason Hernandez, Justin Morrow, Steven Beitashour, Oyvind Alseth, Ashtone Morgan
Midfielders
The midfield group is also healthy in its entirety.
Benoit Cheyrou, though, has played only five minutes (all of which were in October) since coming back from his calf injury. Though he was on the bench in the first leg, his lack of match fitness means he may not be called upon to provide more conference final heroics this year.
Players available: Michael Bradley, Victor Vazquez, Nicolas Hasler, Raheem Edwards, Marky Delgado, Jonathan Osorio, Jay Chapman, Benoit Cheyrou, Armando Cooper, Sergio Camargo, Tsubasa Endoh
Forwards
Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore will return in attack after serving one-game suspensions.
Players available: Sebastian Giovinco, Jozy Altidore, Tosaint Ricketts, Jordan Hamilton, Ben Spencer
