Free pizza and all the new stuff at Toronto FC’s BMO Field this season

When the Reds score two and win, you’re in luck.

Toronto FC wins will taste even better this season - well, depending on what you think of Pizza Pizza.

As is the case when the Toronto Raptors put up 100 points and win, TFC fans with a match ticket will be able to claim a free slice from the chain when the Reds score two goals and emerge victorious at BMO Field this season. For the record - assuming Canadian Championship games count - they did that eight times in 2016, though their first MLS win of that nature did not come until late July.

There will also be 10 new menu items scattered around various sections of BMO, with pork belly fans catered for more than ever before through chicharron fries and banh mi. Here’s the full list of additions and their locations (H/T to UnderTheCoshBlog):

The club seems to have held a tasting event for various members of the media last night, but Waking the Red’s invitation must have got lost in the post. Here’s what the black bean and salsa burger looks like, anyway (via David Rudin):

I’m intrigued to find out what the price of this stuff is, but at least it mixes it up a bit from the usual fare. New drinks will also be on sale - Okanagan Cider and Goose Four Star Pils are the two named - and you can also grab the new home jersey for a mere $130.
