Injury Report: Toronto FC missing three players for visit of Houston Dynamo

Toronto FC have a couple of players edging closer to contention ahead of their match against the Houston Dynamo on Friday night. Here is the full injury report ahead of the third home match of the season.


Clint Irwin is back in full training after a recovering from a hamstring injury but remains a week or two away from returning to the team. Greg Vanney has stated that he still considers Irwin his first-choice goalkeeper.

Players available: Alex Bono, Mark Pais


Chris Mavinga remains sidelined with an adductor injury that could rule him out of the best part of May.

Drew Moor is visiting a cardiologist this week for what the Toronto Sun reports is a minor procedure aimed at correcting his irregular heartbeat. All being well, he is expected to be cleared to train sooner rather than later.

Jason Hernandez is back in full training and nearing contention, though the veteran could require some game time with TFC II before stepping into the first-team lineup.

Ashtone Morgan is back in full training and building up his fitness levels.

All of Toronto’s midfielders are fit.

Jordan Hamilton has been training with TFC II this week and is expected to feature for the USL club again this weekend.
