Rate the Reds: Toronto FC 5-0 Columbus Crew

The Reds turned in a superb outing without two of their designated players to equal their biggest win in club history.

Toronto FC’s latest 5-0 victory was much like their last; a clinic in counter-attacking football that punished an opponent playing with reckless abandon.

Whereas Sebastian Giovinco led the rout of New York City FC in last season’s playoffs, though, this time the Reds did it without both the Italian and Jozy Altidore. Tosaint Ricketts and Victor Vazquez stepped up to the plate in their absence, with the Spaniard netting two goals and the Canadian a menace to the Columbus Crew defence all night long.

Justin Morrow, Jonathan Osorio and Jordan Hamilton also got on the scoresheet, while Marky Delgado was sent off late on for a clumsy challenge on Wil Trapp.
