After two relatively straightforward home wins, Toronto FC had to fight for a third against Orlando City.
Credit to the Lions, who had some doubting their credentials as a potential top Eastern Conference team despite their hot start but showed enough here to suggest they are indeed for real. It’s the Reds who take the points, however, and give their early position in the standings an extra boost heading into a tough test in Seattle.
