They remain first in MLS, but Toronto FC are going to have to dwell on an ugly one for a while before returning to action later this month. The Reds suffered their worst defeat of the season so far at the New England Revolution on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Toronto were exposed over and over again by the Revs and in all honesty, could have conceded more than the three at ended up beating Alex Bono. Victor Vazquez and Raheem Edwards showed flashes of attacking spark in the first half, but little was mustered up in response after the break.
