Rate the Reds: Victor Vazquez stands out on a disappointing night

It wasn’t an especially good day for anyone in red, but the Spaniard still showed his class.

The man-of-the-match award always feels a little empty after a loss as convincing as the one Toronto FC suffered against the New England Revolution at the weekend, but a few Reds players did enough on the day to come out in credit when it comes to your ratings.

Victor Vazquez led the way once again at Gillette Stadium, while Alex Bono offered as much resistance as he could in goal and Jordan Hamilton gets a small endorsement as he seeks more first-team minutes.

At the other end of the scale it is not as pleasant reading for Greg Vanney, who finishes bottom of our poll for the first time this season, or Armando Cooper, who is level with him.
