Who’s your man of the match?

THEY DID IT!

Toronto FC entered the Volcano on Tuesday night, and emerged from the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal tie against Tigres with the win on away goals. They’re back in the semifinals for the first time since 2012, and they’re the second MLS team in this year’s tournament to beat a Mexican side.

Sebastian Giovinco was the only TFC player credited with a goal, since the first bundled off the Tigres centre-backs. That said, it was also Seba who played the ball into the middle of the box that led to that goal.

Chris Mavinga was also immense, making tackle upon tackle, especially in the second half. He looked like he picked up a knock, which may have been why he came out early for Nick Hagglund.

Jonathan Osorio has won this poll two games in a row, but I have a feeling you may have a different player in mind this time around. As always, upvote any players you particularly liked tonight, downvote any you didn’t, and feel free to ignore any who didn’t play a huge part (i.e. Justin Morrow).

Feel free to justify your picks or disagree with the consensus in the comments!
