Last time out, as you all know, Toronto FC lost 3-2 in Monterrey to Tigres UANL. They won the tie on away goals, but I’m afraid you only got the two points if you picked a TFC loss. Actually, a surprising amount of people got it 3-2, bang-on: congrats to HeavyRedFlow, MikeyNorth, Arjon, GetThatGarbageOuttaHere, blkndkr and tecate for getting the final score spot-on.
This time out, the Reds march into Montreal to play the hated Impact at the (perhaps even more hated) Olympic Stadium. Last time there, TFC lost 3-2, pulling a pair of goals back after going down 3-0 fairly quickly. That was the result they needed, of course, as we all remember that night at BMO Field a week later, which gave Toronto the 7-5 aggregate win.
Coming into round 6 of the Prediction League, we have a new leader — Arjon’s perfect score from the Tigres game put him up to 12 points. Mike Whaley and HeavyRedFlow are joint-second with 10.
