Welp.

MLS: Toronto FC at Colorado Rapids Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Well, that kind of sucked. Toronto FC were shut out in Commerce City this afternoon, falling 2-0 to the Colorado Rapids in an MLS game that the club was indifferent at best about.

The Reds fielded a pretty intriguing lineup of youngsters, handing debuts to Liam Fraser, Ryan Telfer, and Julian Dunn. It wasn’t the worst performance we’ve ever seen from a Toronto FC squad, but there wasn’t a whole lot going on in the final third either.ed a pretty

Jack Price’s goal in the 2nd minute pretty much sunk TFC from the start, and a questionable penalty made it 2-0 with less than 15 minutes left to play. There isn’t much to say about this game; it was fairly boring for the most part, and aside from a few interesting flashes from Ager Aketxe and Jay Chapman, the Reds didn’t really do much of note. They weren’t really that bad, but also weren’t great.

So, what did you think? Were you impressed with the youngsters in their debuts? How about Aketxe, Chapman or Jordan Hamilton? Rate ‘em!
