Another one of those rainy nights in Toronto.

Have you dried out yet?

Toronto FC took the game to Club América on a cold, rainy night at BMO Field on Tuesday. In a game that’ll have a significant place in the pantheon of TFC performances over the past couple years, the Reds defeated their Mexican opponents 3-1.

Toronto had three different goalscorers. Sebastian Giovinco redeemed himself from the penalty spot within the first ten minutes of the game, smashing it right down the middle. Jozy Altidore finished off a spectacular ball from Giovinco to put the Reds back up after Andres Ibarguen tied it. Then, in an absolutely surreal moment, Ashtone Morgan of all people finished off a wonderful piece of attacking play to make it 3-1.

Nicolas Hasler came on for Marky Delgado in the 74th minute, and Tosaint Ricketts entered for Jozy Altidore at 85’.

There was a lot to like tonight. Of course, there was a lot to criticize as well; the conditions made it a little sloppy at times, and it was far from Drew Moor’s best performance in a Toronto FC shirt. So, who stood out to you?
