Toronto FC head to Foxborough, Massachusetts tonight for a date with the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium. This is a fixture that’s always been tough for the Reds, who have beaten New England away just twice in their history.
Last year, TFC lost 3-0 and 2-1 in a pair of games at Gillette. The turf pitch is always a tough place to play, although it’s arguably a better surface at the moment than BMO Field’s grass. Can they do better this time around, coming off a tough midweek loss to the Seattle Sounders?
Nobody predicted the Reds would lose to Seattle on Wednesday, so not a lot of points to go around. A couple people picked TFC to score one goal, though, so that kind of worked out.
