Well. Let’s try and put the last couple of Toronto FC matches out of mind, shall we? Last time out, the Reds lost 3-2 to the New England Revolution, and as a result a lot of you took a hit in the prediction league.
That said, a fair few commenters guessed that TFC would score two goals, and a smaller few predicted a Toronto loss. So it wasn’t all bad for prediction league players.
We also, for the first time, have some movement at the top of our leaderboard. Thanks to a three-point game from predicting a 3-1 TFC loss, RustyRamone has jumped ahead of Arjon to take sole possession of first place. Perhaps not the way you’d have wanted to do it, but congratulations nonetheless.
Tonight, TFC take on Orlando City at BMO Field. Without either of their first-choice strikers, they’ll try to get back in the win column somehow. What do you think’s going to happen? Can the Reds break the slump? Or will it be another tough night for a side decimated by injuries?
