Rate the Reds: Toronto FC 2-1 Orlando City

Not the prettiest match, but we’ll definitely take it.

MLS: Orlando City SC at Toronto FC John E. Sokolowski-USA TODAY Sports

At times it was an extremely frustrating game, but in the end Toronto FC managed to pull out another three points at home as they defeated Orlando City 2-1. Ryan Telfer and Jay Chapman, a pair of Canadians, scored the goals for the Reds in a much-needed result for the home side.

Also, if you missed it, the most exciting part of the match was in the second half, when a squirrel ran full-tilt across the pitch into the south-end net. Twice. It went for the hat trick, but came just shy as it steered clear of the goal.

Who impressed you tonight? Telfer had an extremely impressive match, and it was very nice to see Eriq Zavaleta back in the starting 11. There’s still work for TFC to do, especially in the finishing department, but it’s very positive to get back in the win column.

Have your say in the poll!
