Rate the Reds: Toronto FC 1-2 Seattle Sounders

Not exactly the game we expected.

Toronto FC took on the Seattle Sounders at BMO Field on Wednesday night, and it didn’t quite follow the script we expected. The away side came out with the 2-1 victory to claim their first win away from home in 2018.

The Sounders, despite being dominated possession-wise, managed to nip two goals on the counter, and weather the storm from TFC’s attack. The Reds found a goal from Jonathan Osorio on the brink of halftime, but the Sounders found a gap in TFC’s defence not long into the second half.

Whose performance did you like tonight? Osorio continued his strong goalscoring form, and Jay Chapman put in a good shift in relief of Nicolas Hasler (although his finishing definitely left a lot to be desired). TFC’s defence was certainly shaky at times, breaking down completely on two occasions.

Ryan Telfer made his home debut for the Reds, replacing an injured Victor Vazquez. What did you think of him?

Let your votes do the talking.
