Footy Talks Podcast: Who is in Toronto FC’s best XI?

Now that everyone is healthy, what should Greg Vanney’s squad look like?

News today out of training is that Drew Moor is back and while not available to start this weekend, could be on the bench. Auro, meanwhile, limped off against Vancouver but doesn’t seem like he will be out for too long.

With that in mind, this is the healthiest we have seen Toronto FC basically all season. With the amount of quality the squad possess as a whole, that is going to present some difficult selection decisions for Greg Vanney.

However, after the season it has been, these are definitely good problems to have. Which begs the question, who would you put in your Toronto FC starting eleven given what we have seen from the squad this season.

Where does Drew Moor fit back into the backline, and should newcomer Lucas Janson be given a chance to show what he can do in attack? Leave who would be on your team sheet in the comments section below.

Listen to this week’s edition of the Footy Talks podcast to find out what Mitchell Tierney's and Marco D’Onofrio of Soccer 360 Magazine’s takes are on who they would start if they were Greg Vanney.

The pair also talk about Janson, Toronto FC’s newest signing, as well as whether they should have added more during this summer’s transfer window. Then they look at the keys to Toronto FC keeping up their current run.

The Toronto FC section starts at around the 30 minute mark, but before all that the pair get you set for this year’s Premier League and Serie A seasons.
