Toronto FC Prediction League 2018: Round 34 (vs. New York City FC)

Toronto FC had an extra day’s rest this weekend after playing on Wednesday against the Vancouver Whitecaps, so we’ve got a Sunday afternoon matchup at BMO Field between the Reds and New York City FC.

Last time these clubs met, at the end of June, it was a 2-1 win for NYCFC at Yankee Stadium, as Jo Inge Berget scored a brace to complete a comeback. TFC did beat NYCFC 4-0 at home once last season, of course.

It’s hard to tell how strong TFC’s squad will be today, with the second leg of the Canadian Championship final coming up midweek. This is quite an important match for them as they push toward a playoff spot, though.
